I would not recommend. Poor communication and did not arrive at the scheduled time. Needless to say I also don’t agree with his appraisal of our home. A similar home in our neighborhood with less updates SOLD for $14 a sqft more then he appraised our home for.
Had this fellow do an appraisal about 2 years ago and 4 weeks later still was not done. The bank fired him and another appraisal was ordered. If you hire Doug then ask him to guarantee when he will have it completed with a penalty fee for being late. Zero stars.
Done appraisal over three weeks ago and now won't return phone calls to lender. Now we have to get another appraiser and our our loan process is taking even longer thanks to this guy. I would actually give ZERO stars if I could!
