Untrustworthy and offputting. Never be alone with this doctor - crrepy vibe. Seems distracted by family issues. Does not carefully comsider well-being of baby and all possible consequences.

Dr. Douek is a rare find. I just delivered my first baby with him and there were multiple points along the way the Dr. Douek blew me away with his expertise, devotion, and incredible bedside manner. Most of all, Dr. Douek really listens and respects his patients and their wishes. When I found out my baby was breech and desperately wanted to avoid a c-section, Dr. Douek did everything within his power to allow me this opportunity which included a successful ECV at 38 weeks to turn the baby. Dr. Douek is by far one of the most compassionate, supportive and proficient doctors I’ve encountered. He delivered my first child last week and was constantly in the L&D room throughout the entirety of my 27-hour labor. I specifically wanted to see an OB who was a solo practitioner or in a very small practice, which is very rare these days, so as to increase the odds of my OB actually delivering my child. Dr. Douek delivered our baby on Aug 2, 2020.. What an amazing experience.. This was my first pregnancy and we couldn't ask for a better experience. Dr. Douek not only came in on his day off to deliver me but made me feel comfortable and safe in delivery and throughout my entire pregnancy. He is very knowledgeable and compassionate and his staff is also great. My husband and I traveled all the way from NJ to see him and we would do it again for the next baby.. I was under the care of Dr. Douek for my second pregnancy. I can honestly say he was an all around terrific doctor for many reasons, and these are my top 3: - Incredibly dedicated to my care - the night that I delivered, he saw me 3 times at his office before I went to the hospital because he thought I would deliver that night (he was right). He doesn’t cut corners, just wants the best care for his patients even if it inconveniences himself - Listens to my concerns, issues, and birth preferenc

I was in my 3rd trimester with a ritzy practice on Madison Ave. and fed up with the lack of care I was receiving. Sure that practice had a newly renovated office with all the bells and whistles however, the neglect and lack of care was astonishing. After searching non-stop, I came upon the office of Dr. Douek. The nurse Heidi was kind enough to accept me into the practice despite some complications I was facing in pregnancy. Dr. Douek was amazing. He sat down with us and went over all the issues

I was under Dr. Douek's care during my two pregnancies and had very positive experiences (2016 and 2018). Dr. Douek is committed to delivering best possible care for the mother and the baby. He is a qualified and experienced physician with a very low C-section rate and a wonderful bed side manner. Dr. Douek was always reachable by phone and was on top of things during routine visits and labor. He is caring, approachable, respectful and attentive to our concerns and medical issues. Great doctor!

This doctor is absolutely first class, and is the best OBGYN that I have ever dealt with. As a first time mother, he made my delivery comfortale, painless, and stress free. He explained everything clearly and tenderly, was patient with mine and my husbands questions, and also with our parents questions and concerns. He put my needs, feelings, and concerns before anything else and was extremely flexible, available and kind. I cannot highly reccomend this doctor enough.
