DoubleTree by Hilton Wilmington – 5 Stars I stay at the DoubleTree in Wilmington every time I visit family, which is about every other month, and they continue to provide excellent service. This hotel does not own the parking lot. Therefore, you must pay $12 a day AND you park at your risk. The parking lot is not gated. However, rooms and services are nice.
Since Hilton bought this property from IHG it is a million times better. The design is nice and the rooms look great. Everything was clean and comfortable. They have a Starbucks in the lobby (limited menu) a nice stocked bar and restaurant available as well. No free breakfast and paying for parking are the only downsides. We will be staying here for any future visits.
Clean room and friendly staff. I give 3 star for one thing, it was for hotel guests have to pay parking while they stay in the hotel.
