I actually stayed at this hotel last month and I ordered the Bourbon salmon entree and it was amazing.! Super juicy, full of flavor and it came out hot and fast. Hannah was very friendly and easy to talk to. When I came back this month I automatically knew I had to come and eat. I ordered the same thing and it was perfect again. I got to meet the chef this time in passing and had to thank him for his talent. He was humble and thanked me for dining with them instead. The hotel has been very nicely renovated and there is a nice gym. I can’t decide how to rate the parking. It is a terrible experience to get in late at night and be confronted with 100 signs telling you to pay for parking, which is just such a strange concept for a hotel in Wilmington. Then you go inside and ask if you can just pay at the desk, but no, it’s a “third party.” Then you go to your room and there are more QR codes, none of them let you pay for parking, and go back outside at 1am to take a picture, set up a phone ... read more

Hotel management and front desk staff are very welcoming and great to deal with. Rooms are clean, bar and food are great. Cookie on arrival is my favorite part.

I stayed at this DoubleTree while on a recent business trip to Wilmington. It is conveniently located near the airport and many restaurants and shopping options if needed. The rooms were clean and well maintained, service and food options are very good. I would recommend this hotel for anyone needing a quality place to stay outside of the downtown area.
