I enjoyed the entertainment they had at the restaurant bar. The food was good. The bartender was fantastic. I really enjoyed myself. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Great staff very helpful. I left something behind and they were kind enough to mail it back to me. I highly recommend this hotel.

DO NOT STAY HERE WITH CHILDREN OR PETS. I stayed at the DoubleTree in Sulphur Lake Charles about 3 months ago. My dog and I were competing in the Lake Charles dog competition. While we were staying at the hotel my dog got marijuana poisoning while staying the hotel. He had to be taken to the emergency Vet and had to spend the night so that they could get the substances out of his system. The only time my dog was not kenneled or being actively watched was while we were in the hotel room. He had pawed at something behind the T... read more

I have have terrible service here the last three times I have been here in Sulphur. I enjoy live music like anyone else, but the bartender here thinks it is her own family and friends bar in the lounge and only likes to give service to people she knows and doesn’t like people she doesn’t know sitting at HER bar. I thought Double tree was corporately owned, but she like to make her own rules and drive customers off.
