The hotel is nice and great for downtown walking, but the staff are what makes this hotel a standout. We checked in when day and night manager were doing the shift change and got to meet both. Truly 5 star professional and so kind. I wish all hotel check ins could be like the one we had. They made everyone feel warm and welcome.

I am almost certain that any response, if there is one, will be out of touch, focusing only on hotel policy rather than addressing the unprofessional behavior and rudeness I experienced. I had a genuine emergency and simply asked to use the bathroom. I was denied. Along with the denial came a hostile attitude and looks of disdain from a heavy set light brown skinned woman. Stayed here for a work trip recently and I have to say that the room I stayed in was honestly not acceptable. There were cleanliness issues - sticky food/drink residue on the surfaces, the TV remote, and on the floor. The bedding seemed clean and the bathroom was refreshed but it looks like no cleaning was done beyond that. The shower door did not close - it was on an angle so it kept sliding open.
