If you like the comfort of Hilton, stay away! As a Diamond member, I expect reliability, professionalism, and basic accuracy from Hilton, yet this was by far the worst stay I’ve ever had at any of your properties. For $450 a night, the standards should be significantly higher. I reserved a room with two queen beds and was instead given a king with a rollaway, followed by a half‑hearted apology and a suggestion that I could check out, at 10 PM, in Phoenix, with nowhere else to go. I am not in the habit of writing poor reviews. However in this case I felt a responsibility. I would not recommend this hotel and will not stay here again. After this experience, I may even think twice before choosing another DoubleTree location. This particular property is in serious need of updates. While the room itself appeared clean, it was clearly worn and in need of a complete renovation. The bathroom was especially poorly maintained, with broken tiles and signs of general neglect.
