Excellent location next to Byward Market. The staff are all very friendly, the restaurant breakfast is excellent and the rooms are very clean and nice. There is a well lit parking garage underneath the hotel that is not owned by the hotel. The area seemed very safe although there is an abundance of homeless people and pot smoking in downtown Ottawa.
Our stay here was clunky from start to finish. Breakfast is NOT included with the stay and the hotel breakfast is a cash grab (28$ per person). The daily parking is quite expensive as well and the system to access the parking garage was clunky poorly explained and only worked half the time. The keyless access did not work. On the flip side our room was clean and the hotel is well located. Overall a clunky stay.
So good! Very close to the city center, the food at the bar was bad.
