This place is close to the Newark airport and New York city. The hotel is attached to Penn station so it's only a short walk to the station. The room was spacious. The beds were so comfortable. Literally the softest bedding and pillows. Check in was a little difficult it's upstairs and there's barely a place to park to check in. There is also no street parking or parking garage affiliated with the hotel. This was a most horrific stay in all my Hilton years of experiences and I’m a gold member for over 10+ years and never been so disappointed in my life front desk staff are horrible not courteous or helpful at all, Dan night auditor refused to give me early access trying to charge me 200$ for early access I stayed in the lobby from 1- AM to 7:30 am because he insisted that early check in begins at 8 am , 2nd shift people were just as rude Tim B . Great location but rooms are old and filthy. Fake eyelashes stuck to the bathroom wall?! Maid were loud, yelling across to each other. AC was loud so either noise or too hot will make it hard to sleep. Sink had a slow drain. Shower fixtures were coming off.
This experience was as grand as the Barry Manilow concert we attended. Travelling from CT to Newark was effortless and combined with the ease of getting to hotel, check-in with the most dynamic staff, dining at The Junction on-site restaurant, and using the gateway to traverse to the concert just minutes from hotel, we were impressed with how flawless it all worked out.
