Such a great location with the metro stops being so close. We found the Rockerfeller stop exiting Radio City to be the closest. The staff were all friendly, the rooms are smaller than I expected, but it worked for 2 adults. As previous reviews states, the elevator did take a while at peak times. We did not have breakfast as it was pricey, we opted for the food - beverage credit for being Gold Members. We got waters or drinks at the restaurant bar. Hilton Honors Gold Member here. Check in time is 3 pm. It was approaching 5 pm and I still hadn't gotten notification that my room nor my requested digital key was ready. When I ended up at the front desk, I had to wait quite a bit as they were helping other guests. When it was finally my turn and I asked what was happening, they told me the room I requested was not available because the guest staying in it did not check out. I had a very pleasant stay at DoubleTree by Hilton Midtown. The hotel is well maintained, comfortable, and overall a great place to stay in New York. The staff is extremely helpful and welcoming—special thanks to Mohammad, Denise, Edisson, and Shaemayne. They were all very polite, professional, and always ready to assist, which truly made my stay even better. The location is a big plus. This hotel has a perfect midtown location and super helpful staff. Mohammed helped us out a few times during our stay as did the rest of the desk staff. Cleaning staff do a great job too. Midtown can be noisy and hectic so don't expect a country retreat, there will be some noise and hustle bustle of a busy city centre hotel, but highly recommended. Would stay again.
