Plugged shower drain. Stained furniture. Trash in room. Musty room and damp. Got a large discount but desk managers threw their staff under the proverbial bus rather than taking full responsibility.
Understanding the class of hotel this is, this is how you want them all to be. Best of class. Staff was great, rooms and common areas were in great shape. Nice attached restaurant, with breakfast on the morning. And hot cookies on arrival.
I booked a small suite online as a Hilton Honors member. The public areas of the hotel were spacious and clean. It was a peaceful environment. I checked in online and received a digital key prior to entry, so there was no need to contact the front desk. The accommodation was a 2-room/2-bath suite with a single queen-size bed. The room's temperatures were well controlled at the wall thermostats. I would have given this hotel five stars if it hadn't been for two items.
