It was an okay hotel. I was expecting a bit better since it is a Double Tree by Hilton. Rooms need some update. The hotel did have a damp, dank, and musty smell to it. You can tell it use to be something else before it was a DoubleTree. They did have a great breakfast and the bed was spacious and comfortable. We did like that this DoubleTree offer free breakfast.
Where do I begin… Excessive algae growth on hot tub, stained sheets, contact lenses on night stand, bug in bed (hopping around), water damage to ceiling, empty soaps, key system was down upon arrival and unable to get a key, and on and on. Now I have red bumps all over my body. Absolutely disgusting and can’t wait to leave.
My stay could have been more enjoyable regarding the room I had. However the breakfast kind-of offset the negative review, keeping it above water. This is a very nice looking property and it's very welcoming entering your room. However pls ensure you're getting a room with a clean standard. You're not asking allot but you do want to get what you're paying for when it comes to your room and it's cleanliness. I stayed here twice in the same week on the way to and from a long trip. The first room was so disappointing I should have changed my reservation after the first night. Both showers were filthy with something black in the texture on the shower floor. Showers drains in both rooms where plugged, so I had to shower in ankle deep water by the end of the shower. Nightstand had black smudges on the edges. There was hair and dust on the baseboards. If they don't clean what I can see, I think they are not cleaning what I can't see. ... read more
