Towels in hallway outside of a room on the way to our room was my first sign things weren’t going to be super clean. First room wasn’t clean. Holes in sheets along with some random hair, trash in the floor, mildew in shower, buildup in shower floor, unreal dust on vent cover for shower etc.Main door to room was hard to open and close as it would stick. Could use a update. Carpet was dirty and shower needed a good cleaning
The AC did not work in our first room. Maintenance man they sent admitted he was not a maintenance guy, and certainly didn't know anything about AC. At 9:00pm we were assigned a new room. With both rooms, it is hard to tell when they did a good cleaning, especially the carpets. Carpets and drapes were very dusty. It's sad to pay the price of such condition of the rooms.
Older hotel, but they keep it clean, and comfortable. My go-to stay when I come to Mt. Vernon.
