We had an extremely underwhelming experience. We've stayed at several hotels within this price range and it is apparent that in this one you are paying for the location only. We didn't have a bad experience, it just wasn't good enough to warrant the pricetag. The fan in our bathroom wasn't working, and obviously hadn't been for quite some time as there was evidence of moisture damage. Worked for 11s Excellent Location and a Spacious Room The location is the biggest highlight of DoubleTree Montreal. The hotel is directly connected to a large shopping mall with a supermarket, food court, and plenty of shops. The Palais des congr�s is also accessible through the underground walkway network, approximately a 10-minute walk away—very convenient for attending a conference. 5/10 - at first glance this hotel checks all of the boxes. It is clean, it is in a great location, and it has solid amenities for a DoubleTree. However, the staff and hotel management (specifically Laura at reception) do not care about customer service whatsoever. When attempting to extend our room for late check out, the Front Desk said it would be $25 an hour. When told to move forward with a 4PM check out, the Front Desk responded with 'woah that will be $200' which is double what they just quoted... Nonetheless I said ... read more

Rooms were clean and comfortable (we had a 1 bedroom suite and a 2-queen over the course of our stay). Pool was spacious and never busy despite the hotel being full. Breakfast was well stocked and felt close to worth the cost (a hard ask in 2026!) The standout was the staff, who were accommodating and helpful, addressing our needs as they came up. Big thanks to Mayra for her hospitality and warmth!
