Double Tree by Hilton, Naperville, it's definitely NOT a 4-star Hotel, it's a borderline dive. From the moment you arrive you're greeted with trash, worn & tattered facility. A groundskeeper could easily clean-up all the debris strewn across the entire landscape; a maintenence worker could touch-up cracked, peeling, damaged paint IF ONLY they cared about their business & customer. Unfortunately, Hilton has done it again. It appears they have acquired an older, run-down hotel and are attempting to renovate it while continuing to have paying guests stay on the property. My biggest issue is that there was no clear indication on the website when I booked that the hotel was undergoing significant construction. Guests should be given this information before making a reservation so they can decide whether they are comfortable staying under those conditions.
