This is always a family favorite location when visiting the city. Rooms are comfortable, restaurant is great, and it's always an awesome place for indigenous events and conferences.
We had a great stay at Doubletree. Staff are friendly, professional and very helpful. Great breakfast that was included with our package. We saw the Roy Orbison Tribute at Mayfield Dinner Theater that is part of the hotel. The food was excellent and the performances were outstanding. We would highly recommend to see the Roy Orbison Tribute. We are definitely coming back for the up and coming events.
Overall, it’s good. The service was nice, with warm cookies and a large lobby. However, the main thing I was disappointed about is that the room was too small and looks old, the bed’s pillows are also too high for me , no lower one. The breakfast had a lot of options, but I didn’t like that the server had to provide the coffee. I wanted decaf with half hot water and half decaf coffee, but they seemed to keep the coffee behind the counter for tips. Also, the fruit didn’t seem very fresh.
