We passed the property and said to my better half “look there is a Double Tree! We can get your cookies there”. We turned around and I went in. The first impression of the property was Maria. She was very pleasant and her sincere smile when I told her all I wanted was cookies actually made me smile. I don’t think she ever had anyone just come for cookies. Convenient you walk down to George Street, which is the main drag for food and shopping. There is a Denny's last down the street. And a McDonald's if you want to get away from the high prices downtown. Several other places right around. Denny's is good for breakfast The rooms are great! Clean. And the staff is wonderful
$24 a day to park. Maybe was in the fine print but came as a shock to me. Nothing else mattered after that. I'll make sure to never patronize a doubletree again
I used the meeting space for a work meeting and it exceeded my expectations! My team enjoyed the breakfast and lunch that was brought to the room. We all appreciated how clean the room was, as well as having our own restrooms.
Very nice hotel about a 20 minute walk from the touristy areas of St. Augustine. Rooms and hotel appeared to be relatively new and was well kept. Room and bathroom were both pretty big with plenty of room for luggage. Gym was not large but had everything one needs for a good workout. Front desk staff was moderately friendly at check in, and they checked up on us during our stay via text which I really liked. Staff was responsive to our needs.
