this place is extremely nice. there’s a three-section pool, a gigantic lobby, and a very nice (but small) room. the only factor that doesn’t make this 5 stars is that.. the damned grilled cheese sandwich. it wasnt even grilled- it was just slightly toasted, and there no butter or anything. just two pieces of white bread with melted cheese in the middle. im guessing the cook there was a hypocrite. overall nice stay.
Every time I stay at the DoubleTree in Santa Fe, I leave happy. It’s in a great location with beautiful views, especially from the gym. The beds are super comfy and the sheets always feel fresh and clean. And of course, the cookies! 🤤 Absolutely delicious every single time. I can’t wait for my next visit.
Honestly, this place is an absolute DUMP. Go anywhere else. Entrance for check in covered in trash, likewise for the halls, carpet and decor straight out of 1980 and covered in stains and musky odors everywhere. The photos of my room, complete with bugs, are representative of the entire establishment. Flies, gnats and some other tiny flying bug everywhere. Was good
This hotel is nice looking on the outside & the lobby is very nicely decorated. The hotel is not located in the best area of Santa Fe. Homeless were all around the hotel, and up & down the street. The breakfast was wonderful & the waitress was excellent. Our room smelled like a combination of a dog, cigarette smoke (cigarette on balcony) and a musky smell. Our room looked more like an old Motel 6 instead of the normal standards of a Hilton.
