I had a decent stay. However, like almost every other Doubletree I’ve been too, it’s looking a little banged up. It needs a refresh, some updating, and lightening up. Given the layout and facilities, this place has amazing untapped potential. The entry and lobby have a very regal feel like a southern manor. They allow smoking in the pool area which is disrespectful to other guests
The rooms are always very clean and comfortable. The chocolate chip cookies are a special treat.
Truly enjoy the hospitality of the entire staff at this location. Made excellent by Charlie, that goes above and beyond to make sure your stay exceeds any expectations you may have had. She is an absolute joy!
