We stayed there this weekend and everything was wonderful. From the moment we walked in the staff was warm & welcoming, the lobby was inviting and up to date & they had some great amenities such as a bar, pool, hot tub and a little store. The rooms were spacious and well thought out. Overall the hotel is very clean and the decor was beautiful! Let's not forget the fantastic scenery.
This hotel is right next to the Marina is filled with sailboats in the summer. You can watch the sunrise over the water.
This is the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. The management was extremely arrogant and unprofessional. My family stayed here with our service dog. After one night, the hotel told us our dog could no longer stay, claiming we left the dog unattended and that it misbehaved in public areas. Both accusations are completely false. Our dog was never left alone, and it behaved appropriately at all times. This is a good DoubleTree location. I ended up getting a suite since I was here three weeks for work and wanted a little bit more space to spread out. The room was nice, plenty of space, the bed was comfortable, nice amount of outlets and two big TVs. The pool and hot tub were fantastic as well. The staff, especially Gianni (I hope I'm spelling that correctly) were very friendly and helpful. Didn't partake in breakfast but it's not free unless you have gold Hilton Honors status.
