Very nice, comfortable, secure stay :-) Thx much to gracious Ms I, Front Desk Assoc. This is a pleasant property in a convenient location. Room was very clean, comfortable & restful. Doubletree Tigard team, you are appreciated! (As we all know, it’s the entitled, often rude complainers that are always more likely to speak up w/ neg reviews) :-P
Breakfast is great. The fitness center is a joke and the peloton bike they offered couldn’t even be used because it wasn’t connected to the network. I travel for work and select hotels with a peloton for my fitness. They didn’t show any concern in fixing it. Also the whole building feels like it’s half under construction with the paint job.
I had a deeply troubling experience with the front desk staff at this hotel. I was being followed by someone i knew and felt unsafe, so I specifically told the front desk to prevent the person who was trying to find me from entering the building, the elevator, or having any connection to my room. After being away for about 30-40 minutes, I asked if the person had entered, and the front desk assured me they hadn't. However, I later saw that person inside the building. So, my friend was staying here, and I came by to visit her. It was quite late, so I decided to stay the night with my service dog. Well, my dog woke me up at around 4:30 in the morning to go out and use the restroom. I got up, took her outside, and she finished her business. I started playing catch with her using a frisbee. Then, I looked over and noticed that the back window of my car was broken out, and a bunch of my belongings had been stolen. Everything was gone.
