The location is great and I loved the look of this hotel, but the room and the service need some work. The guy at check in was new and I understand there's a learning curve for any job, but he was not friendly, accommodating, and didn't apologize for the delay at check in. I wanted to order food from the bar downstairs to my room but when I called the front desk he first transferred me to the wrong extension when I called back he again didn't apologize and transferred me to a different wrong extension. Had a nice stay, but feel like it was a steep price for what it was.
My experience at the Doubletree Portland was nothing short of amazing. Huge thanks to Marquise. He was very attentive and helpful. Our room was very clean and fresh. The front desk staff was amazing. I will be staying here again. Thank you all for such an amazing, relaxing experience.
