This hotel, although nice inside, the room was decent, it has very nice staff and for $25 has a very nice buffet it has a lot of homeless and druggies hanging around the outside perimeter. There are no resterants close by that are safe to walk to. The pool is OK. The resterant inside is expensive. If you get a room by the light rail, you hear the clickety clack all night long every 15 min. You can park at your own risk for $25 a night. The softball tournaments are mostly 30 min drive. Avoid this hotel. The only redeeming quality is the employees are great, incredibly friendly and helpful. The rooms are tiny and cramped. The bathroom is ridiculous, you have to get in and step around the toilet to close the door, so you can open the shower door. That's so ething I've only seen in places like New York or London, I sane to see a tiny and cramped bathroom in Portland. Everyone helpful, polite, and wonderful.
I was really disappointed with my stay at the DoubleTree Hilton. For over \$200 a night, I expected a lot more in terms of comfort and amenities. The room was clean but very basic—no mini fridge, no bathtub, just a standard shower and bed. For that price, I honestly thought there would be a few more thoughtful touches. The breakfast buffet was disappointing, We paid over $50 for two people for eggs and overcooked bacon—nothing special, and definitely not worth the cost.
