A little misleading, I knew there was a parking charge and when I checked in they said there was a charge of $33.00. Ok, no problem. So I paid for me and my sons car. So when I received my bill there was a total of $230+. It’s a little unnerving considering you can stay at a nicer hotel for the total price you pay. (The gate that lets you in and out of the parking deck never worked properly, or the parking deck elevator. So it’s weird to get charged that much when it doesn’t work properly. The hotel made a great first impression, with a nice exterior and excellent staff. However, the rooms left much to be desired. We booked as a group for a conference, and unfortunately, several of our rooms were not clean, as was evident from the dirty carpets. We also had to plug in lamps ourselves, and some rooms even experienced flooding. Although the staff was helpful and accommodating in moving us to different rooms, the overall experience was disappointing. Don't be fooled! This place is no real Doubletree! It's trashy.. old, and not worth more than $50 a night. The people around us were obnoxiously loud and it's not a family friendly hotel.. it felt like a cheap hotel that invites that type of crowd. I thought it was a Doubletree and the respect I give this chain. This place is worse then a stinky casino hotel. RUN! Gross.. stuff. The blankets didn't have a duvet cover.. iron staind, white blankets. No sheet.. no sheet!!! It had a flat sheet and the blanket with a cheap cloth... read more
