It’s showing its age.
I stayed at the Hilton on Sunday and unfortunately my experience was very disappointing. The first room was extremely dusty, which was a major issue for me because I have severe allergies. The hotel did switch my room and even upgraded me, which I appreciated, but the vents in the second room were also disgusting and clearly had not been cleaned properly. Been in a lot of hotels in my life. I would do anything I could to never stay in this hotel again. Will find something more warm, clean, and not outdated.
The beds are cozy, the rooms are clean. You can get a microwave in your room upon request. Our bathroom fan wasn’t working, or maybe we just couldn’t find the switch? There are clean changing rooms with showers for the pool, but the hot tub is broken. The hotel coffee shop closes at 2pm. there is a restaurant on site, though, and plenty to eat in the neighbourhood (Dundas market area). It’s nice and close to the train station. The staff are helpful and check in is quick. Note: this is an edited review.
