Very disappointing experience. They charge $30 per night for parking, and the parking lot isn't even close to the hotel—you have to cross the street to get to it. Breakfast is advertised as starting at 6:30 AM. I went down this morning at 6:30, but no staff showed up until around 6:40. When someone finally arrived, I was simply told that the chef couldn't make it in and there would be no breakfast at all today. For a hotel charging these rates, this is unacceptable. They don’t tell you that there is a $30 / night parking charge before GST until the day of your stay, with an email that’s easy to miss. Honestly, pretty scummy.
We had a great stay. The room (deluxe queen) was very spacious and clean. We stayed over a long weekend and this area of town was VERY quiet. I was happy to have a car to get around. Parking on site was very easy. Marcia in the breakfast restaurant was great. She was generous with the kids, and such a pleasant person so early in the morning.
