After reading reviews, I was pretty nervous staying here. My only complaint: my husband has a medical device that needs to be plugged in. With our phones and the device, we only had 2 working outlets. We would plug something in, and the charger would fall right out. We ended up unplugging the alarm clock so his device would work. Also, when did Doubletree quit handing out cookies? We didn't get any...
A nice clean hotel right down the street from my daughter's house. Perfect for a quick trip to visit.
Don’t be misled by positive reviews like we were! It was such a big mistake trying to stay here when there are MUCH nicer hotels in the area at a similar price point. Similar to someone who just left a review earlier today, we were completely shocked by the rancid, moldy odors in our rooms. We tried a second room after we noticed it in the first one, but the second was worse. There is very clearly water damage in much of the building, and we even saw black mold growing in multiple locations! So alarming that Hilton hasn’t do... read more
We are from the area and booked a room for a "staycation" because we had fond memories of the indoor pool area from years ago. We ended up leaving and not staying the night. Our room was on the 4th floor and the hallway was visibly dirty and didnt seem like it had been vacuumed in ages. Our room was damp to the point that the carpet and linens felt wet to the touch and had a very strong, almost unbearable musty odor.
