Not a great standard for double tree. Older hotel, decor gives it away. Nightstand drawer wouldn't even stay shut. Time for some new furnishings. Parking is horrible, very little hotel parking. Had to park on the street wherever I could find.
Everything was perfect for my stay! At Double tree Hilton at Jefferson City! The service was wonderful. Room 1012 toilet door needs painting because it is rusted. Highly recommend this hotel to any traveller.
I noticed a lot of drug activity at this hotel. I witnessed a guest remove something from under the Hilton sign and stuff it into his pocket. There were 4 adults outside of the hotel smoking marijuana and one approached me as I was waiting for a friend. I also think the hotel staff is in on this because I saw them speaking to someone in whispers and another hotel staff member saw me and tried to distract me with conversation. Everything about my stay was wonderful. The room had a microwave — a small detail, but one I really appreciated. As a Diamond member, I was also given a $30 F&B credit even though I was staying solo, which was a great perk. I had dinner with a friend at Sapphire, and the food was awesome with truly splendid service. And i tried breakfast. I dont like it. My experience at this DoubleTree Hotel was deeply disappointing. The management made multiple promises to follow up on issues we encountered, but they failed to do so. When we escalated the matter to the Hilton Diamond team, it became clear that the management had been dishonest about their intentions to address our concerns. Even upper management failed to follow through on resolving the situation. I strongly recommend looking elsewhere for your next reservation.
