Prime location, 5 minute walk from the beach. Although Hilton has owned Doubletree for a while, it's still not "Hilton" level. Beds are old, basic, remarkably loud for some reason. Refrigerator door sounded like 1850 farmhouse screen door. Housekeeping passed us by, when asked the front desk to send up towels, front desk clerk responded "here I'll bring then to you (in the lobby)" yeah no, I didn't pay Hilton rates to be the laundry guy. Excellent location, friendly staff, welcoming owner of the facility. Food at the restaurant was good, breakfast buffet was good and fresh coffee and tea in the lobby. There is a bike rental place behind the hotel, very convenient. Kudos to the owner of the facility, he takes care of it and it shows.
It was amazing y’all are so kind, the girl who attended breakfast area did a great job!
