The hotel needs a little TLC, it feels a bit old and definitely some warm lighting would help in the rooms. It’s all bright white now. The staff alerts kind and accommodating , especially during breakfast!
🏨✨ We stayed at DoubleTree Calgary for my birthday weekend, and it was a wonderful experience from start to finish. The rooms were spacious yet cozy, making it easy to relax after a busy day. From the warm welcome at the front desk (complete with their delicious cookies! 🍪) to the housekeeping team and restaurant staff, everyone greeted us with genuine smiles and kindness. Close to the airport and about 20 minutes, depending on time of day, from downtown area and the Stampede grounds. Staff are amazing and rooms are clean! Sliding patio door to get fresh air. Breakfast was a large variety with fresh fruit, yogurt, cereals as well as the usual hot breakfast. The indoor pool is huge, great for lane swimming. A large domed reception area.
Great stay at DoubleTree by Hilton Calgary North. The hotel was clean and comfortable, and the staff were very friendly.
