I’ve been incredibly fortunate to spend the past six weeks of my work trip at the DoubleTree downtown in Asheville. The location is perfect, the staff is exceptional, and it’s been a wonderful place to extend my stay. The hotel rooms are comfortable and well-maintained, even if they show their age next to the nearby Embassy Suites. But that hardly diminishes the warm hospitality here. Very pleasant place to stay. Very friendly staff. Great location for my needs. Will stay here again next time I'm in town.
The hotel “accidentally” checked me out of my room in the middle of my stay, then I came back to a stranger in my room. They moved my room and it ended up okay. The hotel facilities, restaurant, and bar are all nice.
Lovely hotel with excellent breakfast.
