I had a great stay at the DoubleTree in Abilene. The staff was friendly and welcoming from check-in to check-out. My room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, and the hotel was quiet and relaxing. Overall, it was a pleasant experience, and I would definitely stay here again the next time I’m in Abilene.
Comfy beds, clean rooms, and nice bathroom. Just a little expensive.
The rooms are very nice and the location downtown is unique for Abilene. Close to some nice restaurants, including one of their own downstairs (it is however super overpriced for the quality/quantities). The front staff, although friendly, have a hard time checking me in every time I'm here. I would attribute that to a poor client software system and likely not incompetance, but it's still routinely annoying.
