Went in tonight after seeing the nutter butter pizza as the "pizza of the month", with bananas. Went there specifically for that pizza. Out of bananas. WTHeck? It's your "pizza of the month" and you don't have the ingredients. Lame. The lady at the counter said a delivery driver would get some while he was out. Lame. Shoulda asked for a refund.
My Husband and I just moved here about a year ago from Chicago. After trying out several Pizza joints, we FINALLY found one that reminded us of home. Thanks DoubleDaves! We'll be back, again and again.
Double Dave's Pizza has the best pizza buffet here in Abilene.
I think the customer service must have improved a bunch since I started going there, They take really good care of me. I do their buffet and beer almost every wed. night, and I always get enough to eat, they set up a special request pizza on the buffet for me, I look forward to my visits. I am a single, and haven't run into any problems there on that score.
First time today! Customer service was great. Fun and cheerful. The pizza was amazing! Can't believe we haven't been here before.
