This is an excellent restaurant. Good barbecue ribs are to die for and the sausage is very tasty. Had onion rings very good, fries excellent, corn bread very tasty. Besides putting 5 star food the table the staff is attentive and the owner cared enough to visit with me and Karin, my wife for a while. Nice conversation with an owner who obviously cares about his business. Three cheers for Monte and Double Barrel in Lincoln.

What really makes this place special? The staff! The food is first class, but the staff shine. Everyone is helpful, friendly and treat you like family. Beware, Monte, The Lovell Family will be back!

I knew Monte from his job previous to opening his restaraunt, so I was already expecting something good. I was not disappointed. I've tried many bbq places around town and always felt disappointed, leaving me thinking my memories of that place in Texas were just rose-colored glasses effect. Loved this place! The ribs were GREAT! came right off the bone. Others had the sampler platter which was great as well. Service was great. All and all a spectacular choice for my moms B-day dinner. Everyone loved it. Highly recommend this restaurant!
