Dotson plumbing was started in 1962 by Darrell and Doris Dotson as a small, hometown plumbing and heating shop. The business was started in a pre-1900's building on Main St. and to date has never moved. The company grew to employ 35 people by 1973 when the housing market was booming. Darrell Dotson operated the business until his passing in 1987. His wife Doris and their two sons continued to operate the business until 1989 when Larry Wiech purchased the company.
