I purchased a 2024 Atlas; Certified Pre-Owned vehicle from Dothan Volkswagen, and the dealership even offered complimentary delivery. However, shortly after taking possession, I discovered several issues that are inconsistent with the expectations and standards of a Certified Pre-Owned vehicle. I bought a 2021 VW ID.4 a few months ago. I didn't realize it had several recalls pending. I didn't think it would be an issue, but when I called they said it would take several days to install it (nothing out of the ordinary so far). When I followed up to ask for a loaner car, they said they don't participate in the program, then when I asked what options I had, I was told that I bought it "as-is" in a very dismissive manner.
