This was our first visit after going to Walmart for a couple of years. Dr. Doss was very thorough and personable. I felt he really listened to me and will definitely be back.
After being told twice that my vision had changed and needed a better prescription, then getting tests/pictures that I did not authorize nor was asked for consent to do these.. I was expected to pay my vision copay along with my medical copay under specialty care. Trying not to cause a scene inside the office, I went ahead and paid it bc i needed my updated prescription. After all that. The physician didn't even update my new prescription for my frames. This was unacceptable as well as taking advantage of a me as a patient.
I was traveling and my hard contact got stuck to my eye near Commerce. I ended up at Doss Eyecare and was treated so very well, even though I was not a patient. In less than thirty minutes they had worked me in and gotten my contact out. Plus, they were kind enough to not even charge me. If I lived near Commerce, this is where I would go.
After only using Walmart Vision for a couple years I feel like I am seeing a whole new world thanks to Dr. Doss and I absolutely love my new frames!!!
