Disappointed – My husband and I had such high hopes for this restaurant. The atmosphere is great...amazing decorations, laid back, fun and funky. Our waitress started out the evening very helpful and sweet. For the appetizer we ordered a Torta de Salpicon, which was pulled beef brisket with onion and avocado between bread and served "au jus". The taste was fine, but it was COLD!! I mean really cold, even the jus! Everyone had chips and salsa so we asked for them but did not realize they were not complimentary. They are fine. The chips are not salty, like I prefer, and the salsa is fresh tasting, but just OK. For my entree I ordered the Chile Sureño, which is a poblano stuffed with queso grits and shrimp in an ancho chili gravy on top. To be brief, it was inedible. And I can eat almost anything. The shrimp was downright fishy and the sauce was just too much. I was very surprised this heavy dish was on the summer menu. My husband tried one shrimp to be sure it was as bad as I said, and he agreed. I barely even touched my food, and my waitress did not say a word about it! My husband ordered the fish tacos and they were just fine. No interesting flavors, nothing to get excited over. Toward the end of our meal our waitress was rude and did not seem to want to talk to us. It was very odd. We have been wanting to try this place for years and we finally got a babysitter and decided to treat ourselves, but this $100 dinner was extremely disappointing and we will not be back.

Very Good Food – i have eaten here multiple times. great food and service, great setting in downtown. once on a weekend night we caught the mariachi band playing outside..i will return

Great food - but pricey Like it's counterpart over on Creedmoor - Dos Taquitos serves great mexican food in a cool, funky atmosphere. While I vastly prefer the expanse of the outdoor patio over on Creedmoor, nothing beats the pick up burro. Don't know what they use to season their steaks - but it's fantastic.

Amazing food, great service, fun, cozy atmosphere – Still worth a 5 rating b/c the food is just THAT good. The manager was amazingly accommodating to my vegan and pescetarian visiting family (great vegan out is easy in LA and practically impossible in the triangle). The wait is just especially painful because the food smells SO good and you just cannot wait to eat!

Disappointed We were really disappointed with this restaurant. The setting was nice for a date night, but the food is really overpriced. For $18 I got two average steak tacos and very ordinary beans and rice. The steak didn't seem marinated or to have anything done to it beyond being cooked, which I could have received at Taco Bell.
