Awesome Food! This restaurant is kick-butt every time I've been there! The food is great and the service is excellent. The selection of alcoholic beverages is great too! The margaritas are not that great and don't taste very stiff but they always pour ther shots way taller than they need to. A nice selection of tequilla's too, everything from $3 shots to $30 shots. PROS: Great food every time! Nice staff too. CONS: Decorations could use some work.
What are they thinking of..... When Dos Padres is given a bad review for "dinginess"? Dos Padres is one of the most beautifully decorated restaurants I have ever been in. You can spend the evening just looking at the walls. The bar area is small and cozy and beautifully put together, and the bartenders are a joy. The food is as authentic as any you will find in Bellingham, and the cooks are NOT kids, they are experienced. restaurant The food a Dos Padres is great but I really enjoyed the Margaritas! I have found the service to be quite good.
Back big-time after a recent fire A recent fire allowed them to "rework" and upgrade their interior decor. Despite the set-back they did not lose the most important part of their business. The food continues to be terrific, the margaritas are cold and tall. The wait staff is very friendly and will make your eating outing a very positive experience.

Strawberry basil Margaritas were fantastic and they are highly recommended. Chips and salsa are also fantastic and very fresh. I had the Mexican flag enchiladas and they were okay. Nothing special but quite tasty. The service was fine and the servers were quite friendly and competent.
