Language barrier caused a lot issues when ordering drinks, food, and everything else we needed. Waitstaff needs to be able to understand and answer questions. My English is no good is not an excuse. Do we need to ask for an English speaking server next time?
We love Dos Compadres in Odessa so while in Midland we stopped in. It was busy but no wait. Our service was extremely slow and distracted. We ordered drinks and queso and got queso but without chips . And I got no drink. Had to flag down someone to bring us some chips and salsa. The draft beer I initially ordered was eventually delivered in a bottle due to language barriers. Understood it happens.
