We had our air conditioning system removed and replaced. There was an extreme amount of dust from the old system that was never removed before the new system went in. The old system had a ventilation system that went into the ceiling and was not going to be used again. The duct work was never capped off which meant hot air was being sucked in from the roof making the system work harder to cool the house.
The new system had a front cover that had openings where air could go through and was left with no filter. This of course meant dust would collect on the evaporator core. This cover was not designed for this air conditioning system thus making it not compatible with normal filters. Further investigation confirmed it should have never been installed the way it was.
We had an existing pad that was use for the new system however we were charged for a new one that was never installed.
Part of the agreement, was we were to have our ductwork cleaned. Our idea of cleaning is running cleaning equipment all the way through the ductwork at least that's how it should be done. We had to keep calling to get it done when the guy did show up all he did was use a vacuum cleaner and just clean where the vent was not the whole system. I won't go into all the repeated call trying to get things right.
