I would not recommend Dortch Law for real estate closings. My experience with Pavielle Dortch was extremely disappointing. Throughout the closing process, communication was poor and unclear. I often felt uninformed and had to follow up multiple times for basic updates. Communication is clear, timely, and professional, and her poise and expertise at the table make even tricky situations manageable. We trust her enough to refer our own clients, which says it all.
DO NOT ALLOW THEM TO HOLD YOUR EARNEST MONEY. YOU WILL REGRET IT! Delays & gross incompetence! Blows my mind, especially when everything is in writing. BEWARE! $15K of cash in limbo...may never get our money back. Having to go to court just to get our money, even though there were contracts signed by both parties. We had a very poor experience with Dortch law on a recent closing. Poor communication, lots of errors, lots of excuses. 7 day delay on closing. Little remorse for that. There are plenty of good closing attorneys in Atlanta. Go find a different one.
