I have used Dorsey’s automotive several times now to maintain my 2008 Mercedes C-300. The owner is very knowledgeable, approachable, down to earth, and a straight shooter. He frequently didn’t charge for items if he could not fix it, provided guidance, and overall gave really good service.
We took our truck for an inspection. He said the truck needed some work to pass and quoted us a price. We gave him some of the parts since they were itemized and my husband was going to do the work, but we let him do it. After a month, we went back for the truck and it was not inspected. He refused to take the money off the bill and he rewrote the original quote charging us $550 for inspection, double the original. He said he couldn’t do the emissions test and so couldn’t inspect it.
