In a little less than 4 weeks after the last day of the course, I’m a licensed esthetician courtesy of Ms. Amal. She gives her students her ALL! I’m truly grateful for having her as my instructor. Ms Amal, you are a gem.
My experience at dorsey for the esthetic program was truly interesting if i’m being honest the school is very unorganized and all around unprofessional but luckily i ended up with an amazing teacher named Ms. Amal who was able to teach us all of the curriculum in a professional and timely manner so much so every single person from my class passed their state board exams first try. Amal was the best teacher I could have asked for. She didn’t just teach the basics—she prepared us for real-world success. She showed us exactly what spas look for, how to work confidently in a spa setting, and how to succeed through retail upgrades consultation and how to connect with the client . She also helped me find a job and continues to check in and support me. Because of her, my knowledge, skills, and confidence are at a much higher level. I was truly lucky to learn from her.
I studied Esthetics at Dorsey College School of Beauty, and from day one, Ms. Amal was incredibly kind and supportive, even though she taught another class.
