Dr Dorrell is an outstanding doctor, he is compassionate and very knowledgeable . I've have been going to him since I moved to the island 5 years ago. I would recommend him to anyone that is looking for a 5 star doctor, look no further. The staff is very friendly and the facility is very clean .
A patient of Dr. Dorrell since 2010. On my first visit, he discovered a serious problem that three previous doctors misdiagnosed as muscle spasms. Dr. Dorrell found a fracture in my spine requiring surgery. When he determines I need a specialist (eye, skin, surgery) he not only referred me to excellent Drs., but he facilitated a prompt appointment. The entire staff is outstanding: welcoming and kind and compassionate and knowledgeable. Simply put, Dr. Dorrell and his staff are extraordinary..
After bouncing around from doctor to doctor, we have found what we want and expect from a GP. Dr. Dorrell and his staff are awesome. We have never had to visit his office more than once to get a illness taken care of. Great medical care in a fast, friendly environment.
Dr. Dorrell and his staff are first class!!! I was hit by a stingray and we were referred to Dr. Dorrell by our guide. Dr. Dorrell and his staff were waiting for us when we arrived and he and his team knew exactly what to do in this situation. They were able to treat the pain ASAP and had me back on the water the following day. I would highly recommend Dr. Dorrell and his team to anyone!!!
I like his office as you can Walk-in anytime M-R and by appointment on Friday and Saturday. His knowledge is great, and even when I go to a specialist, the specialist tells me EXACTLY what Dr. Dorrell said! On the rare occurrence he is not in the office, his PA (or NP?) is also great, if not a little more deliberative in his diagnosis. (eg. more likely to do a precautionary chest x-ray, lab test etc.) Also, his office has all of that, so if you break an arm or need lab or x-ray done,
Dr Dorrell has always been there for our family and have gone to him since he's been on the island , he is thorough, precise and to the point . He's done our family good and thank God he's out here for us. I've recommended Dr Dorrell to others and they too are satisfied . 4/6/16
The best doctor in the coastal bend! My family and I love the laid back atmosphere the ladies in the office display. Dr. Dorrell is very knowledgeable, understanding, professional, attentive and caring with his patients.
