I'm not sure what the previous reviewer experienced, and it makes me sad, because i know Dr Ellen to be caring, warm, understanding, enlightening, and helpful in getting to the root of problems. She discovered, with a few short questions, past and present stressors that i didn't know i had. She then formulated approaches to identify and address stressors in my every day life. Work, homelife, personal obstacles...all became less anxiety-inducing. Ellen helped me see the forest thru the trees...and maybe prune some of the tree... read more
She was confrontational and seemed suspicious of what i said. I was at a very low point emotionally and she made me feel worse. She made it clear what she thought I should do but i was unable to do it in the condition i was in at that time. I don't think she wanted me as a client.
