Very rough with my pap smear. Very dry, unfriendly bedside manner. Told me i would have trouble conceiving due to my age (under 40) and would need fertility help conceiving (no testing to prove this). few days later, he tells me over the phone that I WAS pregnant but had a miscarriage (again, no test or ultrasound to confirm this) and to come in for follow up blood work to check pregnancy hormone levels. 2 days after blood work I'm told my hormone count has raised as it should and that I'm pregnant. I requested a new doctor.
I have been going to Dr. Dornbier since the early 90s. I HIGHLY recommend him. Kind, detailed, knowledgeable, caring, will take the extra time when you ask for it. My only unavoidable regret is not living in Des Moines during the time of my pregnancy and when I had my child. I would absolutely would have loved having him a my doctor. I have the utmost respect and confidence in him.
Wonderful experience with Dr. Dornbier. I was nervous for my first gynocological appt and he was so nice and made me feel totally comfortable.

Dr. Fagerland and his staff are great. Always make me feel comfortable and answer any questions.
I love Dr Fagerland! He listens and doesn't rush or make you feel like youve asked something stupid. He will talk to you like a friend while still keeping it professional and medically relevant and that helps a ton when other doctors dont seem to even look at your chart when they walk in the door. He knows my risks and is very aware where as others see like anotjer #
I went to the ER and was sent to the labor and delivery. He was the no-doc doctor. I had been receiving care from a CNM who only did homebirths. He told me I shouldn't have walked in the the hospital and I didn't deserve care since I went to a CNM. He told me the only way he would touch me is if I had a c-section. I wasn't even in labor yet, just pre labor. I have never been treated like dirt from a doctor. I was afraid he would hurt me and say it was an accident. I walked out.
