Someone who willingly goes into property management does so knowing they're jumping into a very difficult profession, and Alex excels at it. He is an incredibly intelligent and detail-oriented person and he's exactly the kind of person I'd want managing my property.

They have a wonderful staff. My property manager Betsy is always hands on and addresses my questions and concerns in a timely manner.
Dorman may be great if you are the owner and want to save money, however, I would not recommend them as a tenant. We've had nothing but problems and we live in am almost brand new house. The house wasn't cleaned when we moved in, but you can bet that it will have to be spotless when we move out or we will be charged. The latest is that we haven't received our water bill from the first month and a half that we lived here, even though we call every 2 weeks and beg for it. We have had a sewage issue in the home we are leasing from Dorman for the past TEN days. We had to manually pump the raw sewage from the house for the first 9 days to prevent raw sewage from entering the house. I have had to move my kids from their rooms in the basement to the guest room upstairs for their own safety. Despite multiple phone calls where our property manager Betsy was unreachable and many unanswered emails we still have sewer gas seeping into the home. As a long-time Realtor I have had many opportunities to refer potential owners and/or tenants to Dorman Real Estate Management. Never once in the years that I have done business with them have I found them to be anything but professional, knowledgeable, and responsive. I give them a 1 because there is nothing lower on here . We moved 1500 miles to a house that was totalled and smelled of pet urine holes in the walls stove turned on and off by itself wires hanging out of the ceiling and carpet that was all tore up. Ms Betsy told us it's not that bad and better start cleaning because nobody including me don't work on the weekends.
We used Dorman as our property management team to rent our home out while we moved to San Antonio for a year. Betsy was our property manager and we could not be more pleased with the entire process. We just got our home back as we moved back to Colorado Springs and it was as described by Betsy - clean and without any damage.
