Jennifer Reyes is a horrible GAL. She was court appointed to represent children that a dad had primary custody of. Instead she represented the mom who was arrested with 5 counts of domestic violence in front of children. She established a relationship with the abusive mom. Who left bruises on her children. When the dad questioned her she asked the dad not to contact her. Yet she continues to charge him. She interviewed her clients 3 times in a year and a half. She only cares about money. Ms. Reyes is completely unprofessional, deceiving, lazy & greedy. She was appointed by a commissioner as the guardian ad litem for our custody case. We weren't married so there was no issue regarding a divorce. She was appointed to represent our child's "best interest." Ms. Reyes' best interest is her bank account. She could care less about the child. She continuously racked up her ridiculous charges. When questioned she responds by punishing you with ridiculous orders and motions. Totally unprofessional Paid a retainer fee, for court costs and certificates plus 100. extra, to have criminal history expunged. The Bureau of Criminal Identification was sent an application before they had the charges reduced thus it was denied, multiple felonies (duh). So then the request was sent thru the courts to have one felony reduced, all this took 4 months we were told 8 weeks max. Then I'm told it can't be done two many felonies. Unprofessional I hired Doris and Reyes for a flat fee of $1,000.00 for attorneys fees and $500.00 in costs, to do a simple probate. They made one (1) 15 minute appearance, billed me another $1,370.40 on top of the $1,500.00 I already paid, and then withdraw. I'm having to handle the matter myself now since I don't have another $2,800.00+ to pay another attorney. Save yourself alot of grief and go somewhere else for probate matters.

dissapointed i have worked with this law firm i was not happy with it we did 99 percent of the work and they did not finish out the case a matter of fact they attended court once. after the other party not corresponding with the court order i had asked numerous time for an order to show cause, the lawyer would procastinate, when coming down to ask another lawyer in the firm to take the case over the lawyer withdrew from the case, and then still wanted monies for the work that we had done our selves. they have great knowledge... read more

This law firm: both Attorneys and staff are competent, helpful and geniune I have worked with this law firm for many years on domestic/family issues and found them to be competent, helpful and genuine.
