I had a disappointing experience with Dorevitch Pathology at the Highett branch. On 14 August 2026, I paid AUD $80 in connection with maternal serum screening. At the time of collection, I was not clearly advised that this was a send-away test or that the sample would be sent to VCGS for testing. I later received a separate payment request from VCGS for AUD $154 for the actual testing. 1/5 Extremely disappointing experience. I had a 5:10 pm appointment and waited for almost two hours. During that time, I asked reception more than once and was repeatedly told I would be “next”, yet other patients continued to be called in before me. When I asked whether an almost two-hour wait was considered normal, I was told that it was “normal” and that reception could not control how long the doctor took.
