Had the most amazing dinner tonight at Dorado! Our server, Zoe, was fantastic! She was clearly busy but still super attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. Everything we ordered was phenomenal! Will definitely be back!
I chanced on Dorado on a walk up Park Ave while visiting Rochester on business from the UK. It absolutely hit the spot for me! It’s a small restaurant with a great vibe. What makes it are the friendly and welcome staff… Desiree is a ball of energy and after too much stodgy food elsewhere we talked through menu options and settled on a great dish that she had tuned to my tastes. Filthy Bathroom with no soap. The kitchen appeared to be in the basement next to this bathroom. Very pricey Tacos. I had a burrito, which was ok. I was really disappointment it did not come with any sauces as it was very dry.
Desiree, our bartender, is the cat’s pajamas and I can’t say enough great things about eating and drinking in her company. She made our night out a special one with laughter, and incredible energy. I highly recommend this bar/restaurant with a terrific staff, solid menu, and vibrant atmosphere.
