I would not recommend Dora Baker Alterations. I had a destination wedding. My dress was not ready for me when my flight left. Dora did not have much time to work on my dress, however she said she could have it ready in time. My mom was suppose to bring my dress before she left. Dora refused to release it since it wasnt completed. I had to have my wedding planner assist. UPDATE: I have now received a refund of $200. I had a sample dress shipped from California that had very intricate patterns and wanted to consult with a seamstress before ordering. Dora assured my mother-in-law and I that it would be no problem and the cost of the alterations would be around $180. This included a simple hem, fitting through the body, taking up the straps, and attaching the train. I ordered the dress shortly after.
