I am beyond frustrated with my experience at Dooley's Auto Repair Shop. At first, he seemed honest, and after a couple of easy repairs, I trusted him with a more serious issue on my truck. I paid upfront for a transmission part, yet after more than five months, my truck is still not fixed—and my money is gone. He used it for his personal use. I recently took my vehicle to two garages to have a severe suspension problem fixed. Both locations charged me for parts and labor for things that in the end did not fix my suspension issues. After getting a hold of Dave, he offered to meet me that same day after hours to visually inspect my car. Used him last winter, one of the services he was supposed to do was a fluid change. He said he had forgot to pick up the fluid in Anchorage and told me that he would reach out in a couple days to finish the project since I had already paid for the complete work and I could stop by and he would get it done while I waited. I called Dooley Auto Repair for my car and he wasn’t in town. He told me he can get my car in the day after he returns. I had the part, just not the skill to do it. I messaged the day prior and he said he will call me in the morning the next day. Next day I waited for a call and didn’t receive one so I called. No answer.
