We are a 4th Generation family owned business and we believe our customers are the best in the world! This is a good store I work across the street from Doody's at Stop and Shop so I'm always stopping in there for one thing or another. I was just in Doody's this morning and bought a great drill for $20. Thanks guys!!
Better than home depot I personally like Doody Home Center better than the large home depot type chains. They always have sales and have a very knowledgable staff working and their hours are great. I believe they are open until 9:00 pm every night. They also have 2 parking lots. I have purchased portable heaters, painting supplies as well as blinds for my windows. I have also purchased all the supplies I needed in order to winter proof my home. They are def. the store to use.
local home depot type store This place is great if you can't make it to a lowes or a home depot. The store isn't as big as the warehous giants, but they do carry a full line of building materials and tools. I came here for wood for my new kitchen and they had all of the necessary sizes there. They'll even help you cut certain sizes for you if you ask. Prices are a bit expensive compared to the retail giants, but you don't have to wait forever in the lines.
Huge store / Wide selection of home supplies Huge store where any home supplies can be found. From different types of wood to tiles of marble. All types of chains are available here too. There is also a bunch of gardening things such as plants and lawn mowers. I believe there is also a whole building department where people can help you with a house project but I am not sure. Best Hardware Store This is a very good hardware store. Although its not as big as Lowes or Hone Depot, it has everything I need. When I needed a certain shade of paint. They had it and everything else like brushes. Also they staff is very knowledgeble. It had everything I expected in a home improvement store. I even got a great deal on a new thermostat for my heating system. This store has a huge selection at great prices. Highly recommended.
A better alternative to Home Depot Doodys Home Center is smaller than Home Depot: it has less stores in its chain, and each store has considerably less space. So what makes it better than its big competitor?
Has everything Doody is a little different from the big stores like Home Depot because they seem to have a little bit of this and a little bit of that. They have things that it's hard to find anyplace else. I sometimes go there just to look around and see what's new. I just picked up this plastic thing with teeth you stick down the drain to unclog it. I never saw anything like that anyplace else and it was just what I needed, only I didn't know it until I saw it. brooklyns Home depot I live right around the corner from Doodys. It is a lifesaver. They have everything that you could possibly need. The prices are good and they have weekly sales.
if doody dont got it, he can get it doody's is the place for all your hardware needs, it is huge so they got everything, it has parking which in brooklyn is a luxury. the people here are great they are knowlegable and they can always help you get the right tools for the job not matter how big or how small.
